Meet the Counselor

Mrs. Lynne Lain

Mrs. Lynne Lain

I have been a school counselor in Southwest Allen County Schools since 2000, and I have been at Covington Elementary School since it opened in 2003.

I received my undergraduate degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Saint Francis College, and a school counseling endorsement from the University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana. I began my counseling career in the areas of neuro-psychology, testing, and family counseling before pursuing school counseling.

Covington Elementary is a very special school and a wonderful place to be every day! My goal is for every student and family to feel welcome and an important member of our school community. An integral part of our daily routine is teaching and making connections to the Five Lifelong Guidelines and 19 lifeskills which help students be as successful as they can in their lifelong learning!

I am at Covington Elementary every school day and my grade levels this year are Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and Fourth Grade.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns at my email: llain@sacs.k12.in.us or by calling the school office.
